Yay! The Sandalwood Box arrived from the printers on Wednesday night. The wait is nearly over for all those who are dying for the next installment of Briony and Gryff's adventures. What happens when they go to ancient Persia searching for Briony's grandfather? And who is Sisygambis? She lives in the sandalwood box and she is TROUBLE!

I thought you might like to have a sneak peek at the front cover design of The Sandalwood Box, the third book in my series about Briony and her dragon Gryff. I had a lot of fun working with local illustrator and cartoonist Trevor Salter and I think he has done a great job. Some of you might be familiar with Trev's own books in the Monsters Galore series.

The Sandalwood Box is another big adventure for Briony and Gryff as they venture into ancient times in search of Briony's grandfather. And, if you think that really big bird is a worry, wait until you meet Sisygambis the bad fairy who lives in the sandalwood box.
